Research Evaluation

Important factors to consider in evaluation of research include: Credibility and quality of the information sources. In order for quality research to be conducted then the researcher must critically access the quality and reliability of their sources of information to avoid biases. Good quality research provides evidence that is robust, ethical, stands up to scrutiny and can be used to inform policy making. It should adhere to principles of professionalism, transparency, accountability and auditability.
